What is Moissanite?

It is a unique Silicon Carbide (SiC) crystal that surpasses all other gemstones in brilliance and sparkle. Natural Moissanite is an extremely rare crystal; 1000 times rarer than Diamond. For this reason, it cannot be used in jewelry. But thanks to modern technology, it has become more affordable.

How to distinguish moissanite from Diamond?

It is difficult to distinguish moissanite from diamond with the naked eye. This is so difficult that even professional jewelers make mistakes. There are three ways: - Use of a special electrical conductivity meter (available at gemological laboratories). - Determination of the double border of the reflective facets while observing at a magnification oblique to the site. - Distinguishing needle-like inclusions that are perpendicular to the site and visible only at very high magnification.

Why is Moissanite so much cheaper than Diamond?

It's because scientists have been able to replicate natural Moissanite one-to-one using complex methods in the laboratory, making it cheaper than mining diamonds. At the same time, the world market price of diamonds has been deliberately inflated. Diamonds are natural minerals, and their value has been artificially inflated by the big mining and jewelry giants to create the world's most expensive gemstone in people's minds. Well, they've succeeded!

How Perfect is a Moissanite Cut?

Our Moissanite is faceted with the exact angles and proportions used to cut diamonds. AnnMee Moissanite is an ideal cut stone.

Is Moissanite a Diamond Imitation?

No. Moissanite is a gemstone with unique chemical, optical and aesthetic properties. In the most important indicators it actually outperforms diamond. It is a new gemstone with superior properties that go beyond those of diamond.

Does Moissanite change color over time or with temperature?

No. A temporary color change will only occur if heated over an open flame. Otherwise, Moissanite can withstand temperatures up to 1800 degrees Celsius.

Will Moissanite's luster ever fade or disappear over time?

No. Due to its chemical and optical properties, Moissanite will always retain the same brightness. Moissanite's dispersion is 0.104, exceeding that of diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. We offer a lifetime warranty on Moissanite to ensure the gemstone's brilliance for a long time.

Can Moissanite Break?

No, this is practically impossible due to Moissanite's superior hardness. Moissanite's unique crystal lattice structure makes it more reliable than any diamond in terms of its fragility.

How do I care for my moissanite?

You can care for your moissanite just like you would any other piece of jewelry. However, if you use an ultrasonic cleaner, do not place it with other jewelry as the hardness of moissanite can scratch other jewelry.

How can you be sure the moissanite in your jewelry is genuine?

We know how important authenticity is. All of our moissanite gemstones come with a GRA (Gemological Research of America) certificate, ensuring their authenticity. We are committed to delivering high quality, authentic jewelry that you can treasure.

What is GRA?

Why is GRA so important to the authenticity of your moissanite? GRA stands for Gemological Research of America and is an internationally recognized gemological laboratory. The GRA certificate that comes with our moissanite attests to its authenticity, quality and properties, giving you confidence and peace of mind.
